I’ve been a marriage celebrant in Brisbane for twenty years. In that time, I’ve officiated more than 500 weddings — big celebrations, tiny elopements, destination weddings, quiet backyard ceremonies, and everything in between. But something I’ve come to realise over those twenty years is that I’m especially drawn to a particular kind of wedding. The ones that come later in life. The Take Two weddings. Second marriages.
